I hope you will enjoy my posts. I'm very excited to be able to share a bunch of cool things on my webpage, including cooking, gardening, painting and DIY ideas, and book reviews and story telling,
I am married to a wonderful guy, mother of three and a Grandmother of five beautiful, smart grandchildren, who are all great readers. I got the name "Namo" from my granddaughter Bailee, who called me that as soon as she was able to talk. It caught on with the other grandkids. I think it's sweet!
I retired from my job after twenty five years of working with middle schooler students in the Media Center. Books are great for the soul! Everyone in our School loves to come to the Library. I now, have plenty of time to read while keeping my grandchildren interested in books as well.

Pour Painting
Anna, Bailee and I love to use this technique of painting ...
My daughter in-law has many supplies in her garage to create such beautiful, colorful and unique paintings. We love to try out different methods of this type of acrylic painting, such as using a blow dryer, straw, blow torch and cup pouring.
On the right are three of the first paintings I tried. Their colors match different rooms.
